Visited Loya's for lunch today 0ct 9 2024, Reminds me of the old taquerias and menu was contemporary. I am suffering with GERD so I have to shy away from my favorites, and found Tacos de pollo that were perfect. The presentation was good and authentic - for Chilangos. I had a Sidral which I haven't had since I left -Mi Mexico lindo y. querido - back in 1958. Good atmosphere. (Ron Alonzo - AKA- Don Merlot.) Felicidades

Fabulous fajitas! The sides that went with it were great. The Ingredients were fresh.

I did take out/delivery so I wish the portion was a bit larger but next time I'm going to eat in the restaurant (and try a margarita.)

I absolutely love the food here! The soups are my favorite and there are so many options. The staff is super friendly and accommodating of any special requests. Authentic Mexican food is hard to come by in New Orleans and this place is incredible!

My mushroom empanadas were not included in my to-go order, and the phone did not answer when I called to ask about it. The food I did have was very good though!

Really enjoyed it! Glad to have a place like this right in my neighborhood. Friendly staff, too. I'll be back.
